This Privacy Policy explains what TopShortDramas ("we", "us") collects when you visit topshortdramas.com, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. It covers visitors in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Japan.
The short version: we do not ask you to create an account or give us your name. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure traffic and advertising, which set cookies. In the UK we ask permission before those cookies are set. Everywhere else you can withdraw permission at any time using the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer. We never sell your information for money.
TopShortDramas is an independent comparison and information service about short drama streaming apps, operated from Ramat Gan, Israel. Full operator details are on our Imprint page. For any privacy matter, write to support@topshortdramas.com.
You can read everything on this site without giving us any personal information. We do not operate accounts, newsletters or contact forms that require registration.
Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically receive limited technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and timestamps. Where we use advertising and analytics cookies, identifiers stored in those cookies are also collected.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We group ours as follows.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. The site remains fully usable with cookies disabled.
Google Analytics 4 measures site traffic and which content is read. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. We do not use Analytics to identify individuals.
Google Ads measures whether an advertisement resulted in a visit or an action on the site, and may be used to show our advertisements to people who have visited before.
Both operate under Google Consent Mode. Where consent is required and has not been given, Google receives only aggregated, cookieless signals rather than identifiers.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on any website using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage advertising personalisation at My Ad Center.
To operate and secure the website; to understand which articles are useful; to measure whether our advertising works; to measure referrals to the apps we review; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use this data to make decisions that produce legal effects about you, and we do not carry out profiling for any purpose other than advertising measurement and, where permitted, advertising personalisation.
For visitors in the UK we rely on: consent for analytics, advertising and affiliate-attribution cookies, which you may withdraw at any time; and legitimate interests for strictly necessary processing such as delivering pages, preventing abuse and keeping security logs, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
We share technical and cookie-derived data with Google as described above, and with our affiliate partners in the form of referral parameters attached to outbound links. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell personal information for money. Under some United States privacy laws, however, using advertising cookies to deliver targeted advertising is treated as "sharing" or as a "sale". See section 12.2 for how to opt out.
Many outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you install an app or subscribe after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Those links carry a tracking parameter so the partner can attribute the referral. Once you leave this site, the receiving company's own privacy policy applies, not ours. Commission never changes our scores or what we recommend.
Analytics data is retained by Google for the period configured in our property, currently up to 14 months for user-level and event-level data. Advertising identifiers are retained for the periods shown in the table above. Server logs held by our hosting provider are retained for a short operational period. We keep nothing longer than needed for the purposes described here.
The site is served over HTTPS and hosted by a professional infrastructure provider. We hold no databases of visitor personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Change your consent at any time. Use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page to accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it automatically as an instruction to opt out of advertising and analytics cookies. You do not need to do anything else.
Browser controls. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies and block third-party cookies entirely.
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Under PECR we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. To exercise any right, write to support@topshortdramas.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
In the past twelve months we have collected the following categories: identifiers (IP address, cookie identifiers) and internet activity information (pages viewed, referring pages, interactions). We collect no sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do use advertising cookies that may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. To opt out, use the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, which we honour automatically. No account or verification is required.
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana — have comparable rights to access, correct, delete and opt out of targeted advertising. The same opt-out mechanism and the same contact address apply. If we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may then contact your state Attorney General.
Under PIPEDA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask for corrections, and you may withdraw consent for analytics and advertising cookies at any time using the footer link. Complaints may be directed to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Residents of Quebec have additional rights under Law 25, including the right to be informed when technology that identifies or profiles them is used, the right to have such functions deactivated, and rights to portability and de-indexing. Our cookie controls provide the deactivation mechanism; for the others write to support@topshortdramas.com.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. You may request access to the personal information we hold and ask for corrections by writing to support@topshortdramas.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, we use the information described in this policy for the purposes stated in section 5. Cookie identifiers shared with Google for advertising measurement may constitute personally referable information where the recipient links them to an individual; where that applies we rely on the consent you give through our cookie controls. You may request disclosure, correction or suspension of use by writing to support@topshortdramas.com, and may contact the Personal Information Protection Commission.
We operate from Israel and use service providers located in the United States and elsewhere. Where data is transferred out of the United Kingdom, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision, as applicable to the provider concerned.
This website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Several apps we review carry mature content and are not suitable for younger viewers. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The current version is always published on this page with the revision date shown at the top.
